  • Alan Lee - Funeral Assistant

    Alan Lee - Funeral Assistant

Alan joined the firm in 2009 as a funeral assistant and chauffeur and is, without doubt, one of our key team members. He can be relied upon to get the job done, whether it is driving the limousine to the cemetery, ensuring that the fleet is gleaming clean, or making sure that mourners have everything they need. A self-confessed 'tecky', he has been known to instantly resolve on-the-day problems at the cemetery using the internet connection on his wristwatch!
  • Andy Redfern - Funeral Assistant

Andy has been working for Eric F. Box for many years and can often be seen at funerals and cremations across the district in his capacity as both chauffeur and funeral assistant. Like all of our other team members, he prides himself on supporting and caring for families whilst they are in his charge, and can always be relied upon to give a helping hand.
  • Sally Heath - Trainee Funeral Director

Sally Heath - Trainee Funeral Director

Sally achieved a long held ambition to become a funeral director when she joined Eric F. Box's as a trainee in 2015. She has had a long career working with elderly people but always wanted to join a firm like ours. She is our newest but most welcome member of the team.
  • Virginia Pollitt - Head of Housekeeping

Virginia Pollitt - Head of Housekeeping

Virginia has been with the firm for almost two decades and is an integral part of our 'behind-the-scenes' team. If she isn't making sure that the Dewsbury funeral home is spic and span, she is keeping everyone supplied with tea and coffee and even answering the phones during busy periods! Virginia is as much a part of team as the Box family members themselves, and is known and held in great affection by many of our families.
