When someone has died and the shock of their departure has started to dawn, there are a series of protocols that must be followed.
You will probably want to inform friends and relatives of your bereavement, either in the newspaper or via an announcement card. You may also need to take a decision on whether or not to have the body brought to your home, or a place of worship, ahead of the actual service.
Obviously the team at Eric F. Box Funeral Directors will be only too happy to hand hold you through the process, but, right now, this website can help take away some of your anxieties. Have a read of our ‘Before the Funeral‘ pages and, then, when the dust has settled, give us a call and let us take over. Remember, we open 24 hours a day every day of the year and a ‘person’ will always answer; there are no answer machines at Eric F. Box! Please contact us on the phone number at the bottom of this page, just scroll down.
