The ‘type’ of memorial you have will be governed in part by ‘where’ your loved one is buried. Churches, for example, have certain rules which may be subject to interpretation by the local minister.

Equally you may choose to bury your loved one in a woodland setting as part of a non-religious service. It’s this diversity of location that really can determine how and what your memorial looks like.
